About Chisel

Understanding Chisel

Chisel is an open-source hardware construction language developed at UC Berkeley that supports advanced hardware design using highly parameterized generators and layered domain-specific hardware languages.

Learn to Program in Chisel

Chisel is released as a collection of JARs file published through the official Maven repo. Check out the Generator Bootcamp for a self-paced interactive tutorial in a Jupyter notebook and be running Chisel right away. Chisel uses the Scala Language.

Talks will be approximately 25 minutes.

Poster Previews

Poster presenters will also prepare a 3 minute summary of their posters in a back-to-back lightning talk format.

Poster Session

All posters will be set up by the poster presenters by 3:30pm.

Intensives

On Day 2 we will offer intensive sessions for attendees to learn more Chisel.

Birds of a Feather

Freeform group discussions centred around relevant topics for advanced users of Chisel.
